Also called Golden Oatgrass
Does have some graze-able qualities, in the past used in grassland and hay mixtures (doesn't like heavy grazing). Now used with other grasses alongside wildflowers
Tolerates a wide range of soils but prefers calcareous soils
Fairly drought tolerant
Fine seed, so small amounts required in a mixture
Found naturally in the UK. Commonly found in pastures, grassland, road verges etc
